Corsica

GR20
This magnificent hike runs the along the ‘backbone’ of Corsica, through intricate and steep mountain terrain. It is known as Europe’s most challenging hike, yet it is certainly the most beautiful. The route wends its way through incredible mountain scenery with some easy scrambling and magnificent vistas, with sea views on most days from the ridge-lines that dominate this stunning island. This trek will take between ten to sixteen days depending on your fitness. There will be several nights in refuges as the trail is remote, and it is possible to stay in hotels or guest houses every second to third night. It is also possible to complete the GR20 in two halves (the south and/or the north sections). Top tip: the southern part is easier, so we recommend this as a good section to start with if you are concerned about the more difficult terrain of the north section. Both are equally stunning in terms of scenery and nature. Please email us to make a bespoke GR20 trip with us.
